Kwajalein Scuba Club Membership

A Kwajalein Scuba Club membership offers convenient and safe access to some of the best diving in the world, and annual membership dues cost less than a single day of diving in many other popular dive areas.

PCSing in and already SCUBA certified?

Certified divers, Open Water or above, should contact a Divemaster or Instructor from the Dive Supervisory Council to arrange a safety orientation dive and complete the KSC Membership Form.  Club dues are listed on the form.  Membership allows access to club facilities including free use of club tanks with no charge for fills.  Use of NITROX tanks is available to NITROX-certified divers for an additional charge.  Members are required to obtain an Advanced Open Water or equivalent certification within six months of joining.

Want to try diving?

Contact one of the many qualified SCUBA instructors on island to talk about how to get started diving.  Once you are Open Water certified you can join the club and enjoy diving with us.

TDY Divers

Certified divers visiting Kwajalein can sign up for a reduced-price TDY membership for 45 days.  See the membership application, KSC Membership Form.  Contact a Divemaster or Instructor from the Dive Supervisory Council to arrange a safety orientation dive and complete the application.

If you're interested in getting certified or taking a dive class while you're here, contact one of the SCUBA instructors on island for options.

'Single Dive' Membership

If you'll be on Kwajalein short-term and only have time for a day of diving, a 'Single Dive' membership is available.  See the KSC Membership Form and contact a Divemaster or Instructor from the Dive Supervisory Council.  You'll be restricted to diving under the supervision of a DSC member, but it's a great option for a short visit.

Regular Membership Renewal

Regular membership renewal is due at the beginning of each calendar year.  Members are expected to attend and renew at one of the three Annual Safety Meetings in December, January, or February.  Print out and complete the first two pages of the KSC Membership Form beforehand to save time.  If you can't attend one of the three meetings, contact a Dive Supervisory Council member to renew; in most cases there will be an additional charge for a private safety briefing unless attendance was excused in advance.
